Ok so long story short, my iPhone fell into the street and a car ran over it. (Yes i realize this sounds bad and stupid but please keep reading) The screen cracked completely to where there is glass crumbling off and I can only see a little bit of the screen when I turn it on. The power button works but the home button does not work unless you push it down really hard. I figured out how to disassemble my iPhone taking the screen and touch panel. So I basically can do one of three things. I can:
1) Buy a iPhone 3G Replacement Screen with LCD & Touch Panel for $100 (If this doesn't work then i will be out $100)
2) Take out my sim card and put it in my old phone, wait until December 2010 for an upgrade, and pay my parents back $300
3) Take it in to get repaired. (I don't know how much that would cost)
Any help would be great.
