I currently have an iphone 3GS running on 4.0.1 that is jailbroken AND unlocked. My mac coaxed me into updating to itunes 10 and I was wondering if it will automatically install firmware 4.0.2 or 4.1 onto my iphone? I need the unlock and cannot have any changes to the current settings. I saw there was a file in my trash the said 4.0.2 on it and something else in its description but I stupidly deleted it before thinking about it in more detail. Basically, should I not sync my iPhone to iTunes due to the possibility of an unwanted firmware update? Thanks everyone for your help!
