iPhone Crew: Activation Fees?

Well im probably switching to ATT to get an iPhone this next week (my current service sucks with Cricket). Im just wondering if there is any extra fees associated with activating the iPhone? Also is there a fee for switching your old phone number over to ATT?

$30 I think when you activate it through iTunes. I am not sure about a fee for switching your old # to ATT.

you should use tmobile if the service is good in your area. Its a lot cheaper

I really wish I could, i had tmobile for 2-3 years before i moved to nebraska... However they dont have service here, let alone even coverage (a friend was in town recently with Tmobile and couldnt get a signal at all).

On the bright side, i went to the ATT store (a few miles away) got a 8gb iphone and have it activated and working ALREADY. 36 dollar activation fee was it.
