iPhone Contacts, Syncing, New Laptop?

The original laptop that my iphone was synced to was destroyed and I now have a new replacement. I would like to sync my music to my iphone however I get that notification stating my phone can only be synced to 1 computer and it would erase all contents and sync it with the new.. does this mean I would lose all my contacts that I currently have or will it just erase the music, photos, etc. I cant afford to lose all my contacts which is my biggest concern, I could careless about the photos, music or movies..
