Iphone and HTC app. question?

So for christmas I have a choice of either an iphone or an htc phone.
The reason i like the HTC so much is because on the home screen it shows the weather. By showing the weather i mean the screen is nice and shinny if its sunny out. or rain drops on the screen if its raining.

is there an app for the iphone that allows that??
