I have recently bought an Iphone 4s which happens to be locked to sprint from ebay. I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKSIuRwIedM and attempted to unlock it the same way. When I entered my Vodafone Malta sim card there was 3 bars of service. The mobile however, when I am to activate it, denies the sim card saying it is not compatible. I have considered jailbreaking it and see if I still get those three bars of service on the phone, however I am willing to try anything to unlock it. It is on firmware 5.0.1 I appreciate any help, thank you.
