I want to buy an iPhone 4g on ebay, but it seems to be Unlocked and Jailbroken, I was look at the internet and I found that be unlocked means that it can be used on other carriers like T-Mobile,Telcel,AT&T etc and Jailbroken means that you can download free songs and apps from you iPhone but it seems here that if is Jailbroken it voids the Warranty:

Several things could happen including losing the ability to get Apple to work on the phone if they discover you have a jailbroken phone. Jailbreaking will void your warranty. Okay with that said the other effects include improved functionality and a new app store called Cydia. You can still purchase from the App Store or iTunes as well. Just a heads up, as of today there is not a jailbreak available for the lastest operating system for the iPhone.
If you want to unlock your phone, you will have to jailbreak it first. Jailbreaking allows you, the owner of the phone, to access the operating system. Once jailbroken you will be able to unlock your phone so that it works on other carriers. Good luck!''

-If I bought the Jailbroken iPhone I can restore the jailbroken so then If anything happens to it i could send it to Apple for repair it or exchange?

I can't stay on AT&T im from Mexico, the carrier here is TELCEL . . .
Hey If its factory unlocked I still have a Warranty, I mean it supposed to be Unlocked by Apple so. . .?: Factory unlocked iPhones are unlocked by Apple and not 3rd parties. A few countries don't allow cell phone to be locked to any one carrier. For these regions Apple has to sell unlocked iPhones and some of them make their way onto eBay and other places.
