I went on a trip and my friend jail broke my IPhone 4. He did warn me that if the phone turned off I would be stuck at the apple logo and would need to "just boot" using Redsnow to avoid losing all of my phones contents. I was very careful not to let the battery get low but it just shut down on its own today! He is currently flying to Japan so I have no idea what to do and im stuck on the apple logo screen! I downloaded Redsnow and see the "just boot" option but is that all i need to do?? do i need to download anything else? =( I cant lose all of my data because (stupidly) its not backed up! Please, HELP!
I have no idea about this stuff so BRICK means nothing to me :/ I dont want to restore it, i will lose everything if i do that. There is a way to 'just boot' and all of my contents are still there. He did show me it when i was there however i dont remember anything but holding buttons down for 10 and 3 seconds
i knew if anything happened i could call and have him guide me ..... now im screwed.. EEK!
