the iPhone 3GS was on version 4.2.1
I used redsn0w 0.9.6b5 to jailbreak and unlock the phone by changing the baseband to 06.15.00
the iphone was tethered so I downloaded a custom firmware 4.2.1 to restore the iphone then jailbreak again with greenpo1sin. I didn't want to jailbreak it with greenpo1son first because it does not have the unlock feature
I've used Tinyumbrella and iReb but still no luck.
After its done restoring it gives no errors, just goes back to DFU and asks if I want to restore again. I've tried so many times and still nothing.
Does anyone have this problem or knows how to fix this? I'd really appreciate the help. THANKS!
