Just came back from the Tahoe on a skii trip. Temperatures were 25-35 Farenheit. My iPhone 3GS has been in my pocket most of the time except when I had a call or a text.
Starting today, I went to fetch it from my pocket, and I found it completely off, when I left it on.
After a 3 minute boot, the phone turned on with 21%

Now, I was using it at 7% and it shut off. I tried turning it on and it had the symbol that meant to charge it.
Plugged it in and charged it until it turned on. Quickly went to the next room to plug it into a different charger, and it turned off at 6%
Bottom Line: Today Phone turned off at 21%, 7%, and 6%.
Is this because of the cold temperatures? I swapped the battery out two months ago, and never had these problems. Or is it the iOS?
