Ok, I have a gophone sim card (AT&T)
And one of my friends also had one, but was using an iPhone 3gs. And I have been wanting an iPhone myself.
So, I went and bought one from a refurbished phone store in a city about 20 minutes away from where i live. Which is where my mom lives, so i'm there every weekend.
Well, I was at her house all last week and the phone was working PERFECTLY. I could text, call, and everything I could do with any other phone with my gophone sim in it. I could even use the wifi to get on the web.
So when I went to school (where I live 20 minutes away) I realized my phone said NO SERVICE.
Which makes no since because it works perfect 20 minutes away and we have towers all around!
So, I couldn't recieve texts, send them out, or call or recieve calls!
But when I went back to my moms, it worked perfectly again!
I've reset all the settings, network settings, i have switch airplane mode on and off. I've tried everything I have found to do and nothing works!
I am tempted to take it back and get my money back but i really would like to figure out how to get service and keep the phone if it's possible.
