I got my iPhone 3GS in October last year, and has been dropped a lot. it has a massive smash in the screen and there are many other scratches, including some glass missing. Since the big shatter (around 2-3 months) there have been many problems such as: after being turned off, it wouldnt turn back on (so i took it to the I.T men at my school and he restarted it with nothing being deleted), the battery has been dying much faster, after being charged overnight at 100% in the morning, then listening to the iPod on it for about 40 minutes per day, the battery will be dead in the afternoon. Also, starting from yesterday, it has been glitching; like first when i press the home button after being put on sleep, it turns white, then i have to tap the screen several times and rub my fingers on the screen, it turns to many vertical coloured lines. It then sometimes doesnt even unlock, because i cant see the unlock page. I have connected it to my computer, and it still happens. Does anybody know what is wrong? Is it time to get a new phone? My dad got insurance for it, but do you think this would be covered? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
