iPhone 3G v 3GS please?

Hi,

To those of you who have used both of these phones,
how much faster is the 3GS compared to the 3G?

I'm told if you have both sharing the same wifi, or even 3G connection then the 3GS will load faster even though they have the same connection speed.

Is this true?

And how else is the 3GS better?
