Iphone 3g unlock for fido iphone going to rogers?

I want to unlock my iphone 3g with a baseband of 5.12.01 and its firmware is 3.1.2.
It has no sim in it, but i know for sure its a fido iphone, but i have a rogers sim card and it wont accept it, can someone please tell me a way to unlock it so i can use it for rogers? because i dont want to continue my contract with fido
