Iphone 3g problem

Hello gsmforum
I hope someone can help me to solve this issue
I have an apple iphone which does not turn on but when I plug it with the usb cable or charge it comes with apple logo and nothing else.
what can be the problem ?

if 3g , not 3gs restore with 3.1.3 and jailbreak with redsnow then unlock
with installing repo666.ultrasn0w by cydia
