Iphone 3G or BlackBerry Curve 8900?

I have had an iPhone 3G for about 2 years and i can get an update. I was looking through phones, and I found a BlackBerry Curve 8900 refurb for $0.01 and just ordered it today.
Which one of these do you think if the better phone. I have 30 days to try the BB before I have to keep it or return it so I look forward to trying it out.
 
the blackberry will be easier, the iphone is getting viruses/worms passed around there is one where your private emails can be sent to some1 else
