I recently received a secondhand iPhone 3G as a present. The previous owner did not use it much, but was easily able to access wireless networks in a variety of locations. However, the iPhone now will not detect any wireless networks and so cannot connect. When i first got it, i was able to connect to one network briefly, and then there have been periods of 5 minutes or so where it has connected to my home wireless, but now it will not even detect it, let alone connect.
I had an iPod touch before this and it easily connected to any wireless network, as do any devices in my house trying to connect to the wireless (except mine)
I have reset my network settings and i have a wifi address.
If anyone has any information, please share with me how i can fix this issue.
