Iphone 3G / 4.2.1 unlock PLEASE help !!?

Just bought this phone and i was told its unlocked. it is currently running on 4.2.1 and model # is mb702ll
it does have cydia and repo666 and modmyi and zodttd installed already but when i insert a T-mobil sim card it keep searching for network and eventually say no service .... what do i do to get this working???
