Iphone 2g 3.1.2 dead killed no power bricked ?

I tried to unlock iphone 2g with 3.1.2 custom firmware and Blackra1n and now my customers phone will not power on. HELP PLEASE!!!

First restore officeial firmware
2nd blakra1n
3rd restore custom firmware
again blakra1n
and unlock no wife
all ok

Turn ur iphone in DFU Mood by pressing power+Home boton 10 sec. and relies power but still home botton press. Then Restore it
It will be solved.
 
Iphone is completely dead.

1.) No power = Can't restore

2.) Won't go into DFU Mode

3.) iTunes doesn't detect the phone
 
disassemble ur iphone then try to charge ur battery from power supply and set ur power supply to 3.7v then put positive and negative to batt.coz i think that u try to restore from ur iphone to 20% low batt..
 
I can try this solution tomorrow? I was thinking the same thing but i didnt want to have to open the phone.

I opened the iPhone and tried to jump / charge the battery no luck ...... I had to replace the Mainboard with another.

What are the proper steps to unlock a 2G iPhone with 3.1.2 FW

Hi, did you check the battery see if any voltage? if it has voltage then you don't have to switch board, several ways to boot, hold the home button and connect to itune, it should detect it after 10 seconds, if not, connect to itune anyway, then hold down the power & home for 10 seconds and release the power button but still hold the home button, it should detect by itune about 18 seconds or just hold down power & home button for 15 seconds the press the power button for 2 seconds, it should show the apple logo in process, this will reset.
BTW, you can not jump charge the battery when it's connected to the board, you'll have to disconnect it from the board and check the voltage or charge it.

I had already tried all that you mentioned with no luck. When I put the replacement board in the iPhone the iPhone powered up fine. So that tells me the battery is not bad. If i had a bad battery the iPhone wouldn't have powered up when i replaced the mainboard ... I tried to power up the BAD board in a different iPhone and came up with the same result > Dead iPhone > No Power. : (
 
i fsced the same problem for 2g 3.1.2 and today one 3g 3.1.2 same problem what to do plz give solution ?
 
The solution:
Unplug Iphone from USB
Hold home button
Connect usb while holding the button
Itunes will find it ( display still black ! )
Hold Shift and cli restore
Choose correct FW
Wait for update
Exit Itunes
Connect USB
Run Blackrain

I have the same problem, I just got the phone one month ago (3gs 32gb 3.1.2) and now its bricked, cannot access DFU mode, no power, neither holding power and home button, nothing, it is dead... I was thinking to take it over the company where i purchased the phone to get another one, but will they found out that is jb? or they will restore the phone and never know that the phone was jb?. But before i do that i was woundering if there is a way to access DFU mode in this situation.

Hi there, i just saved my iphone , but i couldn't figure out how i did it. I didnt use my iphone for the past days, and i just pluged the phone to the pc without power and then turn the pc on and boom! there was the battery charging icon on the iphone!.. i just wait till it have some charge then i just power on the phone and access recovery mode and from there just did blackra1n (note: at the first time i did blackra1n and it powered of, but i tried it twice and it worked).

This situation was so weird because my iphone was dead no dfu mode no usb detection no nothing, tried irecovery, blabla and nothing, and from nowhere started working.

I dont know if the solution was to drained the battery or plug the phone to the pc and then just power on. So if someone has the same problem i suggest to wait...and dont know maybe you could get lucky, maybe the iphone is just lazy...

just run your dead iphone to redsnow,redsnow will automatically bring back your phone in white screen then do restore in itunes.

i have same problem with Iphone 3gs 16gb
don't power on
don't work anything (itunes, blackra1n, spirit, libusb)
computer just don't see it!!! don't display in list of devices
Iphone don't go to DFU and RECOVERY mode
