iphoe 3g held problem?

i have a iphone 3g firmware 3.0.1 it totally held not working but incoming calls are working but not received, back button and off button not working
what should i do for resolve this problem.

what is remove its battery or other?

Have you already tried to restore it and set-up as new phone in i-Tunes?
