ipad will not plug into anything?

My ipad will not plug into anything.... when i plug it into a charger.... any charger, it will not work.... and when i plug it into the computer, it will not show up on my computer that it is even plugged in... and it will not charge... i have tried it on multiple computers, and on multiples chargers with the latest version of itunes installed and still nothing works.... please help
