ios 5 making ipod touch 4g laggy

i was on 4.3.2 then i updated to 5.0.1 and i am JAILBROKEN and everything is slightly laggy, switching pages, camera shutter, music app, all apps, coverflow etc....... . Anyone know how to fix or if an update is coming? my installed cydia packages are:
Activator
SBSettings
thats it because i deleted all my others because i wanted to ee if it was a package, but no the issue still remains. :(


i should also add that i was on untethered 4.3.2 then i restored straight to a custom ios 5.0.1 ipsw then i jailbroke
 
Hi! When you restored, did you do a "setup as new" or a "restore from backup"? Because the second might cause issues since you were jailbroken before.

Try performing two hard resets first (reboot the phone by holding down the home/power buttons simultaneously). If it doesnt fix it, you might need to restore.

Another solution i know to fix the lag (which usually has to do with winterboard) Is to install Barrel.
 
yes i had barell and winterboard, uninstalled both. also just to clarify, i was jailbroken on ios 4.3.2 before i upgrade to ios5. The process i used to upgrade was this
1.Download firmware (cant remeraber where)
2.Shift+Click Restore on itunes and select that firmware
3.then jailbreak with reRABnow.

Anything done wrong?
 
and also i think it might be a problem for un-jailbroken users because my sister has ios5 and its never been jailbroken and hers is the same.
