Right now you can use redsn0w to jailbreak and ultrasn0w 0.93 to unlock iOS4.x, but as rumors that 4.0.1 will make mobilesubstrate working not properly. so they need to fix this issue, So plz Keep in mind that you need to have Properly for Jailbreak and Unlock,
