I have a 500gb Iomega External harddrive system. Recently it seems to just be flashing on the "on" blue light. I've looked on the website but it doesn't have anything about a flashing light. Do I need to take this back to the manufactorers? Its only a few months old, which concerns me! It also has quite a few files on it (around 250gb worth) which aren't backed up anywhere else - as it went weird quite unexpectedly (one day working, next day not).
Any help would be much appreciated!

It was brought from John Lewis and I still have the garentee somewhere ( i think!)
