G'day from downunder. My name is Martin from Melbourne, Australia. I currently own a black ST3 and will be buying a 1098 sometime in the new year, with the intention of riding it on one of the worlds greatest motorcycle tracks. Phillip Island. I am 47 years old and have never been so excited about getting a new bike as this. Ride fast, ride safe.

Hi, I'm Jaap living in the Netherlands. I have in order, a 1098S with full termi system.

At the moment i'm on my 3rd ZX10R (totalled 2 of them) an traded the last one in for the 1098s. Furthermore i own a Suzuki GSF Bandit 1200 (streetfighter) and a Husqvarna 510 SMR supermotard.

I have a passion about hardcore riding trackdays and the famous "Nurnburgring" (28 km circuit) in Germany where i spend a lot of weekends.
 
It'll be interesting how all you guys that are swapping from Jap bikes find living with a Duke. I learnt to ride on a Desmo 250 (which I still have), upgraded to a 600 Pantah, then 94 900SS, then 99 900SS, then 2002 998. the 1098S is due late Jan in Adelaide. I've had Jap bikes as well and have a VFR400 as a trackbike. One day when I get to old to ride seriously, I guess I'll have to buy a Harley.
 
Hey everyone, nice to see this forum started here, I'm sure it will take off quite nicely. My name is Matt, I live in metro Detroit area. I'm fairly new to motorcycles and currently own a 2006 Ducati Monster S2R 800 that I absolutely love; I love the streetfighter naked bike look. I just put a deposit down on an standard 1098, but might switch to the S in the end.
 
Wow, since this site has started I have been on here about 10 times a day!!

My name is Trever and I live in Atlanta. I grew up in Western NY riding since I could pedal a bike. I started Road Racing at 16 and my first bike was a FZ 750. Fast with no suspension or breaks!! Fast-forward 13 years where I am 3rd on the list for a base model 1098. My first Duc and first new bike ever!!

If anyone is racing in the South East region I am racing WERA: vintage 6...that's right...the FZ 750.

Can't wait for my 1098!!!
 
Hi all,
My name is Peter, I have been riding motorcycles since I was 11 years old and I am now 12 and a half (Mentaly). As of now I have 2 bikes, a Multistrada DS1000, and a Vrod. The 1098S is calling me! It would be my first superbike and I would sell the Vrod to get it. Anyone interested in a fast Harley?
 
Hello guys my name is Edvin, I just got off a ZX10r ninja it was a 04. I started riding in 02 my first bike was a 01 R1(I had a very bad lemon bike). I work from home, i move cars cross country with a few trucks I own. Iam 22 and i have moved to the US about 9yrs ago from Bosnia due to a war back home. I love it here and i love bikes, this is my first Duc and i plan on keeping it that way. Ive orderd and paid it off, a 1098s Tricolor from Chicago Cycle Center. If any one lives neary by there i will fly in the day before if you want to meet for a ride and check out the bike. Also i tune cars mainly BMWs iam a big M3 freak and if you got questions or need a car or bike moved let me know and i will be sure to help. Also i sell cars online and off dealer lots all over chicago keep me and mind and I will see to that you get the car you want. I will post photos the day i get the bike.
