Hello All!

Great to see the site. I currently own an '04 999 which I enjoy thoroughly. I am intrigued by the 1098 although I'm not getting rid of my 999 to get one (just yet anyway)
 
Hi, nice meeting you allmy name is Ben, living in Southern Californa, currently have 3 bikes in my garage:2003 R6, 2003 Derbi GPR, and 2007 MV Agusta F4 Senna 1000. I co-owned a Duc 916 years ago but no longer have it... looking forward to owning another Ducati one day!
 
Hello Everyone, My Name is Joshua. I'm saving up to purchase a 1098 in Feb. I can't wait. I've been reading everything on I can on motorcycle safety, how motorcycle engines work and how and why 1098 is better then most bikes. It's so much fun learning how ingenious engineers can build such awesome machines. Best wishes to all!

My name is Ara. I live in Valencia, Ca. I'm fairly new to motorcylces. I've always loved riding my road and mountain bikes, so I thought I'd get one with a big motor.
I'm totally hooked on bikes. I own a Monster S2R 800 and an '07 Triumph Sprint ST. I'm selling the Monster to make way for my up-comming 1098. I can't wait!

Hello all! My name is Larry but I have become accustomed to answering to that or "Griff", which is a nickname my friends gave me as a shortened version of my last name. I have been riding bikes for almost thirty years, beginning on minibikes and dirtbikes, graduating to the street in high-school on a borrowed Yamaha cruiser. I traded time in my 1966 GTO for seat time on a borrowed Honda V-four Interceptor in college, rode my friend's Suzuki Intruder after college, and bought my first new bike in 1995, a Honda VFR750.

I also fell in love with Tamburini's original 916 design, but had only owned Japanese sportbikes and dirtbikes until last year, when I purchased an MV Agusta F41000 (Tamburini #211/300). I also am hooked on Italian design and mechanical engineering.

I enjoy working on bikes almost as much as riding them, doing much of my own maintenance and rebuilds, and have slowly grown my stable to nine bikes over the last 11 years; 1987 Yamaha YSR50 Team Calamari mini-racer, 1990 Honda NS50, 1995 Honda VFR750, 1997 Honda CR250, 1998 Yamaha YZF R1, 2000 Suzuki DRZ400, 2000 Kawasaki ZX7R, 2005 Honda RC51, and the 2005 MV Agusta F41000 Tamburini.

I am here because of my experience with MVAgusta.net, a wonderful resource (you are my hero, Alvin), and I have a 2007 Ducati Desmosedici RR on order, due in late summer 2007.

Lets spread the word about this fantastic new resource for Ducati owners around the world. Great to be here, and I look forward to meeting and riding with some of you in the future!
 
Hey, my name is James, I'm 23 and live in Charleston, SC right now selling and developing advertising campaigns for Auto and Moto dealerships... plan on moving to Las Vegas, NV next month.... I own a 2000 748S, which is my first street bike. I always had quads and dirt bikes, and had only ridden a street bike (03 R6) one time before I got my Duc. A friend's dad back home in Virginia collected Ducati bikes (ST4, 900SS, 916, 996) and I fell in love with the beautiful Italian design of the Ducatis and decided that all the Japanese bikes weren't even an option for me. So after moving to Charleston, where it's riding weather 90% of the year, I decided to get a bike and I found my 748S near the beginning of October, bought it within 3 days of seeing it, and have been riding it ever since... Put about 2000 miles on the bike since then and loving every second of it. Riding the Duc is the most amazing feeling and the sound is so sweet I am addicted, I usually ride once or twice during the week and about 2-300 miles on sundays. Glad to be a part of the Ducati community and I look forward to purchasing a 1098!
