Introducation...and a new Ducati owner

Hey guys:

I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 2008 Ducati 1098S today. Hopefully it'll be delivered tomorrow since it's snowing outside right now. I went to look...and since they only had one left my wife talked me into pulling the trigger on it. I'm definitely a lucky guy with a great wife. She's as excited about the bike as I am.

I'm coming off of a 2002 Honda RC-51...and from what I understand the Ducati is going to make me fall farther in love with everything I already love about the big V-twins.

Here's to hoping that the rest of winter passes quickly...And if anyone's from New England and wants to get together for some mellow riding...let me know. I'm beyond riding aggressively on the streets.

Unfortunately, I won't be riding for a month or two. It all depends on the weather here. Today it was 45 out, but we have fresh snow from the other night. Hopefully soon though. Until I get to really detail it and think of all that I want to do to it.

Congrats from here too. We are all waiting for the winter to end. The only thing that makes it bearable are the trickle of parts to install during the long months of short days.
 
Definitely a big congrats to you! I wished my wife was as excited about a bike as I was. She's on the other end of the spectrum when it comes to things like that. Unless of course its dresses, purses, etc..

You, are indeed, a VERY LUCKY guy!
