I don't have it, but it was suspect. I have ulcerative colitis, and apparently there is a connection there. Do you have any other autoimmune disease as well?
My cat was just diagnosed with it....we're trying pain relief meds low dosage to actually help with her joint arthritis pain hoping to relieve the distress of that...in turn causing less attacks, lots of water, etc. It's been very upsetting for us given that she's 16 and still like a young cat, etc.
There are antispasmodics that might help....I use dicyclomine for gut spasming and I believe it's also given for bladder spasming.
There is also a list of foods that shouldn't be eaten....have you checked them out?
I know drinking water is a huge plus....
With my research for cats, one thing that's come up is Coenzyme Q10 for dealing with inflammation on a cellular level. Seems promising.
