Internet via USB to Laptop?

HI!

Can I access the web via my laptop using a USB cable to my T2? Or, do I HAVE to use Bluetooth? I am so confused ... any insights would be very appreciated! I am currently use adsl or cable to access the web from my laptop ... using Wi-Fi. What type of set-up/connections am I looking at? Thanks!!! :)
 
I'm not clear on what your asking.....are you trying to use your T2 as a BT modem connection to a cellular phone so you can see web pages on your laptop? Or are you trying to use BT to connect to the internet with the T2 directly?

If your connecting to the internet via the laptop and then you want to view pages on the T2 isn't this counter productive given the two screen sizes?

Ok, that I have the questions out of the way:

You could get a BT dongle that would connect to your ADSL modem assuming you have a router and a free USB port on the PC ....then you could be roaming about the house (30 feet or so) and have the T2 connected but this also seems a waste since your limited on distance and it seems that your laptop is WiFi enabled so that would be much more efficient. You can check with Linksys....they sell the BT dongle for your system.

PalmOne has released their Wifi card for the Zire and T3 but I'm not certain they've added the driver's for the T2. That would be the way to go if you want to connect the T2 to your network, IMHO.
