Specification from one tablet PC is:

Built in HSPA modem

Internal 3G (Huawei EM770W:
HSPA/UMTS 850/900/1900/2100MHz,
HSUPA: 5.76Mbps (UL) / HSDPA: 7.2Mbps (DL))

It says AT&T SIM card can be used to access 3g internet speed through built in modem.

Will there be any internet speed difference when:
1) Above modem is used to access internet AND
2) Same SIM used in any 3g enabled cell phone such as iPhone 3gs

In general, is there any internet speed difference using sim directly in cell phone and accessing internet thriough internal modem and same sim card.
