Hi,
I am going to become a new customer of TMobile because I am switching over from verizon since it is a little more cheaper and I was also paying for a data plan. I decided to move over to Tmobile, where i can purchase an unlocked phone and use the free wi-fi that I have at home and in school.
I was thinking about buying a Blackberry 8520 from a retail store but before I did, I asked the TMobile customer service guy yesterday whether my wi-fi on my blackberry will work without a data plan and he said no because the newer versions of blackberry are preventing customers to access the internet without a data plan.
I want to know whether this is true or not because I already purchased my sim card from T-mobile and now I really really want a wi-fi which has the exact physical features of a blackberry. And I am so in love with the blackberry 8520.
Do anyone know whether my wi-fi on my 8520 will work without a data plan?
