internet on f305

I just purchased an unlocked f305 online and now I can't send or receive picture messages. I was told at the AT&T store that I have to have the internet and AT&t settings in order to access the internet. I have tried the sony ericsson site and nothing happens and when I went to AT&T site my phone is not listed. Can anybody help me? I am beginning to think I made a mistake buying this phone online.

With your phone you can get Internet access. Use the Internet for online services such as news, banking and Google
