INTERNET ACCESS: Treo 650 vs. Audiovox PPC-6700

I was looking to connect my phone to a laptop to get internet access using Sprint Power Vision.

I know that the Treo 650 can connect using Bluetooth and that the Audiovox PPC-6700 can connect using USB, but which is better? Faster? More reliable? What type of card would I need to make my laptop Bluetooth accessible with the Treo 650?

Also, your overall impressions of these two phones would be great. The PPC.6700 is quite a bit more expensive and I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost.

THANKS!!!

Well, to start you off with information....on the difference....

The PPC-6700 is a Power Vision (EV-DO) phone.......the Treo 650 is not. EV-DO = anywheres inbetween 500kbps and 1Mbps. The Treo 650's speed (original Vision) = a little more than half of EV-DO lower speed limit.

USB will be faster..........but Bluetooth = Convienence. All you would need is a USB Bluetooth adapter ($30 or less....depends on the name, and the spec & class)

And of course.....if you're going to use the phone itself, you need to find out if you're more comfortable with Palm OS or Windows Mobile.
