I recently purchased a nice, new, wireless headset (Plantronics .Audio 995), let it charge, plugged it in all excited to chat with my buddies on Ventrilo. I could hear my friends fine, and once I had it set up, they could hear me, but I was told there was some static. After a few minutes, my internet-based programs (Firefox, World of Warcraft, and Ventrilo itself) experienced some heavy lag, then stopped altogether. Connection was fine, everything just froze in the windows.
I reset the router and everything was golden again... for about 5 minutes, tops.

The only thing that changed was my headset, and since it and my internet connection are both wireless, I'm suspecting some sort of interference, maybe the frequencies are too similar, or something...?

There appears to be no way to change the frequency of my headset, but I do really love it. Any possible solutions / workarounds?

Ok heres the deal. Go to What's My IP Address? Networking Tools & More and copy that ip adress and put it in your browser. Sign into your router. Go to the wireless tab, its in basic wireless settings. Configuration View: Manual. (This is with my lynksys wireless router.) May vary, but change your channel to 1 or 11, I busted my ass looking for this. (I had the same problem) I hope it works! :D
