I read an article yesterday: Apparently we have taste buRAB in our lungs, and a mouse study suggests that inhaling bitter-tasting compounRAB can actually open the airways.
This suggests the possibility of an entirely new class of asthma meRAB, effective bronchiodilators which are not stimulants. It has yet to be tested in humans, and it's obviously years away from pharmacy shelves, IF it pans out, but it's still exciting.
Eating bitter fooRAB doesn't work, by the way, it has to reach the lungs directly, and in a way that won't irritate them further.
