I was pondering this and it seems I've stumbled onto a formula. If a 200hp car with 200lb ft that weighs 3500lbs can hit 60 in 8 seconds, does that mean the same weight car with exactly 400hp and 400lb ft at the same rpm could do it in 4 seconds with enough grip? Or perhaps with 100hp and 100lb ft would take 16 seconds? Assuming traction was not an issue is this a fairly linear probability?
Interesting math/car question....?
