interesting essay by young author?

Here are two choices:

1.The Diary of Anne Frank: She was just a child when she recorded her life during the holocaust.

2.Freedom Writers; The teacher had the book published but the book are simply journals of her high school students of their life experiences and what they have to face each day and how they felt about her a new young white teacher trying to come in and teach them and how she really did make a difference.
