I was under the impression that interactive or interaction is where two or more people communicate amongst each other by phone/text messages/internet messages etc; forums and blogs etc.. or with computer video games where the player plays against the system etc...
But was watching something on You Tube in which a behind the scenes exclusive of a television programme was shown and the presenter said this was an interactive experience 'not for the people who read newspapers etc....' and wondered how it can be interactive if the viewer cannot participate themselves.
Then I read on Wikipedia that this is interactive as people with DVDs and digital tv can watch what they want when they want.
I understand what they mean but to me it is not interactive in the true sense of the word.
I would then think that newspapers are interactive as you do the crossword for example when you want.
