I have PCOS and I had one ovary and tube removed in 2008, and the other ovary and tube were left with a tubal ligation on the remaining tube. I have had irregular periods ever since then, and also much more heavier periods with the loss of huge gunk/clots, sorry for TMI. There are more days being added in between the start of each period, so I am wondering if I am entering menopause early for one. But the real issue is that today I am having major cramping, without the period. I do have a cyst on the remaining ovary, but have no idea at the moment of it's size since the dr I saw didn't want to keep a check on it. I have no insurance so I can only go to one dr in the area and they are no help. During my last period I passed what looked like tissue, not a clot, and afterwards I had major cramping. It feels the same except I am not having a period, it is day 20 of my cycle actually. Period shouldn't start for another 10 or 11 days. So is this something I should see a dr about. The times I have had cysts in the past, I never had cramping like this inbetween periods. Thanks for any help. Also, I haven't taken a HPT b/c it would just be a waste of money since they always say negative, so I quit buying them.
