INSURANCE price

What kind of insurance do you guys carry? I just go a quote for a Superbike full coverage at $7000+ per year! Is this normal? Or nutz? Please let me know who you use!!!! THANK!

I dont have a 1098 at the moment. I currently ride a 06 daytona 675. For full coverage Geico wanted OVER 10k a year. I called allstate and they wanted roguhly 3500 a year and state farm wanted 2200 shop around and I am sure you will find something more affordable!!
 
Well, here is the BIGGEST deal. I cannot get state farm, as I do not have a car. You have to already have a policy through them in order to get a motorcycle policy. Wait...MAYBE I can get my renters insurance through them. THat may work. I'll call Allstate and StateFarm tomorrow.

i have state farm and i didnt have my truck with them the first 6 mo. try another agent or try my agent in oklahoma. i dont think it matters what agent you use as long as they have your zip for rates. my mv full coverage $500 deductable $29/mo and my tricolore is $48/mo
 
Really? Maybe because I'm moving my whole package at once (1098, two cars, home, flood, liability umby) SF will write it all? Anyway, the savings are huge!

When I got my SV I tried Progressive (or one of the other internet sites) and my quote was $7k; married 45 y.o. with MSF, a spotless (so far!) driving record, and excellent credit. Allstate wanted ~$600 for the first year. Same thing with my 1098. I buy EVERYTHING on line but those insurance companies are an f*ing joke!

Called State Farm again, even if I had a homeowners policy through them they still wouldnt give me a moto policy. They said I would HAVE to have an auto policy with them. Thing is, I have no car.

Just changed to Farmers:

$544.99/year per bike with two speeding tickets in the last year. I also added two of my cars. My progressive was $2000 per year, with the same coverage!
