Insurance Costs

Sounds like a interesting thread. Seems there is lots of variance across the country. If anyone is interested in the Ontario area for a free quote from my State Farm agent drop me a line and I can give you her contact info.

Married, 26yo with clean record (no tickets/accidents ever) in VT. no discounts through statefarm with $500 deductables, full coverage, for $440 a year.

Seems the cost of insurance in the US is alot cheaper than North of the border. In Onatrio we have "no fault" insurance and have very, very limited chances of sueing anyone from an accident. You would think that would make insurance cheaper.

As in Canada, Minnesota is a No-Fault state. I'm a long time State Farm policyholder and pay under 300 a year for my 1198 for full coverage and 500 ded. I don't know but wouldn't be surprised if the fact that I have multiple proprieties insured though them along with three cars and three motorcycles play into it.

I think on another thread we established that state farm was the cheapest across the board. Like i mentioned above can not get them.

Dairyland is usually competitive with Statefarm. They are a subsidiary of Sentry insurance. When I first started riding, my ins through then was the cheapest by far.
