I just bought my first home this year. It's a mobile home in Florida and there's a metal roof on my porch which makes the porch extremely hot. I know that there are insulating paints that can be rolled on but I have no idea which kind will work best. I really want the best because I'm trying to minimize my cooling costs. I live near a Home Depot and an Ace Hardware so I'd prefer any brand they carry. Also , can anyone recommend a good first-time homeowner's book for checklists and minor repairs?
