Instructions for changing 1998 chevy S10 truck speakers.?

My truck's left door speaker doesnt work so i was going to buy some and change both door speakers. Anyone know how to do that or what size speakers to buy? If someone could give me a website that'd be great too!!

btw, i have a little white 1998 chevy S10 truck (no extended cab or anything) and where the door speakers are it looks like you could just take the top cover off but i'm not sure how :(
 
Because the speaker wires are routed from car body to door they are continually being bent when the door is being opened and closed so the wires fail fairly often .If it is a makers fitting a replacement loom for this purpose is readily available
