Instead of the government taking over health care. Why don't we?

spend more money on educating more doctors? Supply and demand would take care of the prices. What do you think?

Doctor's fees are a small part of health care costs compared to the cost of prescription drugs for seniors, now an entitlement that costs $60B per year and will escalate as the baby boomers reach 65.

Already the medical community is supplying us with more demand for $. There is more to it then that, schooling for the profession is very high since you "make a killing" after wards, so the education for such a field is held to a high premium. Then you get wanton desire for things, vacations, wanting to work less and get paid more...

Still think supply and demand will work?

Doctors need to pay for their school loans, therefore, I do believe that Obama should expand health care. Doctors will still charge the same ridiculous price regardless of the supply and demand

Perhaps, but unfortunately, doctors and nurses cannot be manufactured as easily as a Snickers bar. Still, if you did lower the bar, would you really want to be operated on by a guy named Bubba who smells like the bar room floor he passed out on late last night?

There are already more than enough doctors in the US. The problem is that people can't afford them.
