I'm trying to install my Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade Disk on my Intel-based Mac with Leopard, but it keeps telling me my disk is not valid. Is it because it's an upgrade version?
Edit: Thank you for the warning. I'll be on my guard. And I'm installing this from my old computer; I just dug up that old disk from a filing cabinet, so I better go look some more.

Yes, that most likely relies on there being files from the previous version to build on. When you're using boot camp you're essentially installing a completely new operating system, aside from some drivers provided from apple.

Edit: I'd be careful with the website provided with the above answer, I went to it and Firefox warned me about going there, as Firefox says it has ties to some bad websites.
