My stock stereo died so I'm upgrading to a new unit, where is the amp located in a 2006 Dodge Charger? Specifically where is its remote turn on? the aftermarket piece has a wire to turn on the amp, however a wire to do that is not in the original wiring harness, all schematics I’ve found with wiring color codes (which have been wrong so far) say that it runs off of a "class 2 serial network" I don't see anything like that in there, also I've found the wires for the front left and right speakers, however there are two wires in ports that everywhere I can find are described as open, two tan wires, one with an orange stripe, do they control both rear speakers? Or are they controlled through the amp somehow? Don’t think they are wired together; I used to be able isolate each speaker with the stock receiver. Also there is a constant 12v but no switched power, I had to run that myself, I’ve don’t that but how does the stock radio know when to turn on?
