Installed car stereo now I have a check engine light?

I just installed a new car stereo now my car takes about 5 seconds of cranking until it turns over and the check engine light is on. I took it to autozone and he said the codes that it was putting out are for a crankshaft or camshaft sensor and I need a new timing belt.

Is it possible that the problem is a blown fuse or something? because the timing belt was replaced about a year ago and there is only 30,000 miles on the belt. Nothing like this happened before I installed the stereo
