Need more info.
Did it used to be a 318? If not, did you swap the ECU?

Is it getting a spark? Is the fuel system working?

did you go from a smaller size motor to this? are you trying to use the wires to the computer?is it a old motor new motor? problem is you probably need a computer for the motor
you going from a v6 to v8 computer wont work . its with the ignition system
