Hi,
Was wondering if anybody has come across this before, have been trying to install angry birds, each time, message angry birds could not be viewed, free up some space on your phone comes up. Available space is 1752MB, Internal flash storage available 784MB, MID system storage 302MB, have apad running Android 1.5, would be grateful for any help.
Thanks.

Do you meet the minimum requirements? My email said:

Angry Birds will run on second generation Android devices and upwards, with Android platform 1.6 or later. Your device needs to support OpenGL ES 2.0. QVGA display resolution is not supported currently, but we will add support for QVGA devices soon.

angry birds wont install on my nexus one. it downloads, but wont install. i dont know how i did it, but apparently the birds are angry at me

LOL ... check the file size. Yesterday when I was downloading and the site was sooooooo busy, it would seem to download, but only a portion of the file would be there. I had to try several times before I got the full 12+ mb file.

Are you installing from their site or the market? I had the beta and installed from the market without deleting the beta, worked. I see on twitter you've wiped and everything. Like you said the birds are angry at you.

I had the same problem and saw this on a Droid foruum about the same issue.

"Yes Google knows about the issue. It's happening because some developers have recently decided to install from the market right to your SD Card and in turn it can cause this problem to happen.

The developer from MiniSquadron has figured out a possible workaround:

"On your sd card, locate and delete the file ...android_secure/smdl2tmp1.asec (this is a temporary file and won't harm your phone to remove it). Then redownload/reinstall the app - it *should* now work fine."

You can also try un-mounting or removing you microSD card during the installation process which should force an install to the internal memory.

We wrote about it over at DroidGamers Here but I'll make an official post here as well for everyone (once I figure out how)."

I pulled the SD card and installed Angry Birds with out a problem. Good Luck.
