Install app to phone memory or memory card?

For a long time I thought that phone memory, as shown at Menu - Options - Memory details, meant RAM. I therefore installed all apps on the memory card, with the idea of keeping the largest amount of memory free for processing. I've since learned that the reported amount of phone memory is only for storage. RAM is not reported, as far as I know.

Does it matter where apps are installed? Perhaps the programs in phone memory load faster, but I don't know. Does it make sense simply to fill up the phone memory first, then the card?

If you have a high speed card, it really won't make a noticeable difference where you install the apps and store data. I see you have an N80 so I should note that it has been found that some apps with processes that always run are better installed to the phone memory as they may drain the battery a bit faster otherwise.

Anything that I don't have constantly running goes on the card. Utility-type apps are on the phone, as well.

So, Phone Memory:
ShoZu
TalkinSilent
Xplore

Calcium
those types

Anything like games, apps that I don't use constantly are on the card.

i have a SanDisk 2GB, I don't really see difference between card and phone on E65.
I am sure good quality memory card do make a difference.
